The Ashton Depot is a full-service event venue and catering company led by co-owners Executive Chef Cesar Gallegos and General Manager Ashlee Johnson, daughter of The Ashton Hotel and The Ashton Depot Founder Shirlee Gandy. 

The historic Santa Fe Depot was built in 1899. The trains ran from 1900 to 2003 making it the longest running train station in the country. In 2003, the worn-down building was painstakingly restored and reopened in 2006 as The Ashton Depot.

The Ashton Depot hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, corporate events, galas, holiday parties, school auctions, trainings, team-buildings, celebration of life events and more.

Our Offsite Catering Team takes our show on the road providing everything from setup to cleanup, custom meal and bar packages, bartenders and servers for private in-home parties to full-scale galas. 

In 2020, due to the demand for social-distancing-friendly socializing, we now host a Monthly Sunday Brunch and Quarterly High Tea open to the public.

Weekly Depot-to-Go Meals are available for pickup or delivery every Thursday and include a salad, entrée and dessert.

During the pandemic The Ashton Depot has been amazing to this community!  

Not only do we have incredible meals delivered to our door every Thursday, we love attending their social distancing monthly Sunday Brunch so we can visit safely with our friends, listen to live music and enjoy Chef Cesar's fabulous food!
